CareSouth has fondly farewelled retiring CEO Deb Tozer whilst welcoming new CEO Liz Forsyth.  The timing of Liz’s recruitment has allowed for a smooth handover between the two CEOs prior to Deb’s last day in the office on Friday 14 December 2018. 

Deb now intends to travel with husband Steve and spend more time with her family. You can read more about Deb’s incredible career in the latest issue of the CareSouth EVERYDAY Magazine.

Liz has hit the ground running visiting a number of CareSouth offices in her first week along with a CEO Roundtable meeting with local NDIS providers and the Federal Minister for Families and Social Services, Paul Fletcher in Wollongong on Tuesday 11 December.

Most recently Northcott’s General Manager – Supported Living, Liz has spent the last eleven years at Northcott, notably leading the bid and managing the $100m transfer of the government Disability Group Homes. Liz spent an early part of her career in child protection and is looking forward to working in that field again.

CareSouth Chairman John Dorahy said, “The CareSouth Board went through an extensive and independent recruitment process to appoint the new CEO. We met and interviewed some wonderful applicants who wanted to lead our organisation. The Board is delighted that we were able to appoint Liz from the process. We’re really looking forward to working with her over the coming years.”
